Hi Beauties! Lexus Brianne here with a budget friendly makeup find. So I was scrolling on YouTube when I kept seeing reviews of this L.A Colors Foundation and I couldn't believe the coverage I was seeing in these reviews. And get this! It's only $6! They only have around 14 shades so hopefully they see how much everyone loves the product and extend the shade range.
So the foundation is called L.A Colors Truly Matte and it's amazing. After seeing the reviews I took it upon myself to go to the L.A Colors website to order some. The only thing is the shipping was around $6 and it just wasn't worth it to me to only buy one foundation and pay that shipping cost so I bought a bunch of other products as well and ended up getting free shipping because I purchased so much. I know I know. I should have just paid the 12 bucks but hey.
Anyway I personally just order it from amazon now because it comes out cheaper for me there even though its around $8 on amazon. I recommend this foundation to anyone who wants full coverage, high end looking foundation without breaking the bank.
Now as far as applying the foundation. It goes on smooth. But you have to remember it's a matte foundation and it dries fast so either work in sections or apply fast. I have tried both a Beauty Blender and a Flat top Kabuki Brush. I personally get the best coverage with the Kabuki Brush. But don't rule out getting a beauty blender if you don't already have one because the Beauty Blender is amazing for blending out your highlight and contour. Don't forget to wet it with warm water for best results.
It covers all of my blemishes and leaves me looking smooth and flawless. I've tried several different expensive high end foundations and this cheaper foundation is my absolute favorite. Keep in mind it is a Matte foundation so if you have extremely dry skin, I'm not sure if its for you but I'd say try and see. I have extremely oily skin and this foundation stays on all day without me having to continuously blot my face. I do set my makeup with e.l.f setting powder and setting spray which you can purchase together for around $12 here. I have worn the foundation without setting it and it did well but I did have to blot a little more so now I try not to forget to set my makeup cause I want my beat to last hunny.
