Hi Beauties! So I have to tell you guys about my lashes! I used to go to the local beauty supply store and pay 99 cent for dramatic, thick band having, unrealistic lashes. And eventually I got over how bad those lashes looked on me and resorted to paying a lot more for mink lashes that were more natural looking and they were sooo pretty. But I soon got over paying so much for lashes I would just snatch off every night and just leave lying around somewhere in the house or in the car.
So of course I started doing research, trying to find some lashes that looked high end but didn't have the high price. I ended up ordering a whole 10 pair of lashes for only $2! And I also had an old worn out spoolie(mascara wand). I don't know why I call them spoolies but.... anyway, I needed a new mascara wand so I did some looking and found and entire 100 pack of disposable wands for only $2 as well. I was winning that day!
I received my lashes and spoolies. The lashes don't have that ugly, thick, noticeable band on them and they actually look pretty natural. They weren't sticking to the box like lashes normally do when you purchase them. Instead they have a band that's longer on each end so they can stick in holes in the box if that makes any sense. So you absolutely have to cut the ends of the band. Which isn't a big deal to me.
To make the lashes look more natural and more like mink lashes, I take one of my mascara wands and rub it back and forth across the lashes and in circular motions to make them look a little less perfect and a little more like real lashes.
Now for applying them. I line my eyes first with a black liner. I prefer e.l.f cream eyeliner. I apply it with a thin angled eyeliner brush. But you could use a pencil or a liquid eyeliner if that's what you prefer. The reason I strongly suggest lining is because the eyeliner makes the lashes blend better with your natural lash line even when you accidentally don't apply the lashes close enough to your lash line.
I now apply mascara. This step isn't necessary but I personally love how my false lashes look when I put mascara on my real lashes before applying them. I put duo eyelash glue, dark across the band and apply the lashes as close as I can to my lash line. Then I pinch them together with my real lashes. You don't have to use the dark glue. I just happened to buy the dark but if you prefer the clear/white then that works just as good. Then I apply more mascara, blending my lashes with the falsies.
